Timothy Mose:

Tim Mose is a Deputy Division Director for state government in Columbia, SC with a background in alcohol and drug abuse, health and human services and social service programs. He has a Masters Degree in Management and Bachelors in Mathematics and holds a mediation certification. Tim enjoys the outdoors including traveling, camping and fishing.

Effective November 17th, Tim Mose was named the Director of the DSS Child Support Services Division. Tim has worked in child support for more than two decades beginning his career as a caseworker in 1993. Over the last two decades, Tim has received multiple promotions within the Division and has served as Director of the Columbia and Charleston Regions. Since 2014, Tim has been the Director of Regional Operations for Child Support Services and this year was recipient of the National Child Support Enforcement Association’s Outstanding Leadership Award. Tim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Management. We are excited to have Tim use his extensive background and experience in child support, as well as his passion for the work of the Division and the Agency, to lead the Child Support Services Division. In his new role, Tim will also be a member of the Executive Management Team and we look forward to his leadership on the team. Please extend your congratulations and best wishes to Tim.


Latasha Rivers:

Latasha is a licensed clinical social worker in North Charleston, SC, with a background in treating addictions and trauma within the Latino community. She attended Davidson College and the University of South Carolina, where she received her MSW in 2002. Latasha currently operates Rivers of Life as a tele-therapist, a social work supervisor, and a professional health educator/trainer. She has been a sacred concert pianist for 30 years and enjoys playing the piano for nursing home residents. She is married to George Rivers and has two step-daughters, Latavia and Malaya.


Demetrius Sansom:

Demetrius is a class 1 law enforcement officer, certified by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Demetrius is currently employed by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. From 2001-2011 Demetrius worked as a detention officer with the Sheriff’s office after completing a four year service obligation with the US Army. He is a transplant from Monterey California and graduate of St. Andrews High school in Charleston S.C. Demetrius is the proud father of two girls, Peyton and Kennedy.


Anthony Joyner:

Tony Joyner is a native Charlestonian.
A graduate of Fisk University.
